St Hild Mirfield

St Hild Mirfield is based, with our offices, at the site of The Community of the Resurrection.

The Mirfield site has been a centre for hospitality, education and prayer since 1898. Brothers of the Community of the Resurrection contribute to our teaching programme and pastoral provision.

Wednesday night and weekend teaching at Mirfield supports both undergraduate and postgraduate awards, with additional modules including Mission in Urban and Rural Contexts, Christian-Muslim Engagement, Community Development, and Anthropology.

Full-time ordinands meet weekly in the Mission in Practice group for theological reflection on context, specialising in pioneering integral mission.

Visitors to interviews are invited to join us on an agreed Wednesday from 4pm to meet staff and students, and to have the opportunity to attend evening prayer and teaching.
