Academic fees are payable on a termly basis, as outlined in the downloadable fee guide. 

In some cases, bursary funding may be available towards costs of study.

Baptist Ministers in Training pay an annual formation fee, as well as academic fees relevant to their study pathway.

Academic fees are payable on a termly basis.

In some cases bursary funding may be available towards costs of study.

Academic & formation fees for ordinands are paid by the Church of England, as are travel expenses related to study.

St Hild is registered with the Office for Students, the regulator for Higher Education in England.

This registration was confirmed following an extensive process in which we demonstrated that we meet the Office for Students (OfS) standards for student support, student protection and more. 

Following our registration with the OfS, eligible St Hild students on accredited courses can access student finance for both undergraduate and postgraduate study, including student loans.


What kinds of financial support can I access?

You can find information on the gov.uk site about the different types of financial support available, whether you are eligible, and the application process – for example:

  • Tuition fee loans
  • Maintenance loans and grants
  • Disability support funding etc

Lifelong Learning Entitlement

To find out more about the new Lifelong Learning Entitlement scheme coming in 2026/2027 for people who have previously studied or received a loan:

This funding is only available for full, undergraduate courses at St Hild, and not individual modules or postgraduate awards.
