We offer a variety of training for lay and ordained ministries in the Church of England and welcome Christians of all denominations to study Theology for Mission and Ministry to deepen their faith and to prepare them to serve God in a variety of ministries and contexts.
Undergraduate & Postgraduate Study
Our teaching typically takes place:
- Over two Saturdays each term at Edward King House in Lincoln, and
- Six Thursday evenings on Zoom, joining with other students from the wider College.
We offer both undergraduate and postgraduate study.
Readers in training
Readers in training take part in:
- Additional sessions on Saturdays in Lincoln (one each term) to support their formation in lay ministry
- A monthly Reader Reflection Group on Zoom on Thursday evenings.
Ordinands
Ordinands and those exploring ordained ministry through the Caleb stream also join with the wider St. Hild College’s ordinand programme at Mirfield for:
- Two weekends each term
- A week at Easter
We offer both part and full-time contextual ordination training, with academic elements based in Lincoln and formation at Mirfield.
St Hild Lincoln provides:
We were part of a small group in Lincoln until we merged with St Hild which now offers new opportunities. We have found everyone welcoming, with more choices in what we can study.
