St Hild College registered with the Office for Students

St Hild College is delighted to announce that it has successfully achieved registration with the Office for Students (OfS) which regulates higher education providers in England.

St Hild College is delighted to announce that it has successfully achieved registration with the Office for Students (OfS) which regulates higher education providers in England. Following an intensive process, St Hild has been judged to provide high-quality courses with robust academic standards, meeting all the requirements of the OfS. Eligible students studying at St Hild will now, for the first time, be able to access student finance, including loans for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Rev Dr Janet Williams, Vice-Principal of the College says “Registration with the Office for Students is a significant stepping-stone towards our vision of making high-quality theological education and ministerial training accessible as widely as possible across the region we serve. It has the potential to broaden and enrich our community as we seek to be formed in the likeness of Christ and to serve his purposes in the world.”

Rev Graham Ensor, Interim Chair of the St Hild Council, says “This is a wonderful achievement and is testament to the excellent courses provided by St Hild. We look forward to continuing our journey of being a pioneering college that serves the church for the transformation of communities.”
